In our 93rd year of business, we have a goal to transition younger generations into the future car buyers of Grappone. Mackenzie Duval, Luke Hynes, Olivia Imprescia, and Cameron Scotia are seniors at Southern New Hampshire University in the Martin Bradley Three Year Honors Program. These students implemented Millennial Education Day for their senior project. The mission was to help Grappone bring future generations into the dealership.
These four students complimented each others strengths and weaknesses. In an effort to meet this goal for reaching millennials, they gathered information on Grappone’s car buying experience through shadowing, interviews, and surveys. This enabled the students to develop a general understanding of the process. Next, they felt it was important to educate other millennium buyers on the unique, negotiation-free sales process that Grappone fosters. This way, individuals could be prepared with knowledge and confidence when purchasing a vehicle after college.
The idea to host Millennial Education Day at Grappone surfaced. The vision of this strategy was to bestow trust in students with a warm welcome. Additionally, we want them to feel comfortable when visiting Grappone as first-time car buyers. The Education Day involved lunch, raffles and multiple seminars with Grappone team members. The seminars covered specific aspects of the company. Topics included Entrepreneurship & History, Financing & Leasing, and Environmental Awareness.
Mackenzie Duval shared her thoughts on the project, “We hope the students that attended took full advantage of what the day had to offer and the dealership made a lasting impression with them.”
